The Options window is a very important window because it contains all the hot keys a player will use for fighting. It is broken down into 4 main groups we call "Attack Modes". In each attack mode there are combos and each combo contains certain keys to press, and the keys to press are governed by priorities. We will discuss each of these in detail so don't worry.

MODE:

Start Fight

The first attack mode is "Start Fight", which controls how the player will begin combat. It will have combos in it like pre-fight buffs, long range pulling attacks, pet attacks, etc.

Single Mob

This mode controls how the player will fight when attacking. When the player does not have a priority for multiple mobs, it goes back to single mob mode until it does. For instance: Lets say you have 1 combo for start fight (bow pull), 2 combos for "Single Mob" (swipe and sting), 1 combo for "Multi Mobs" (double slash) and 1 combo for "After Fight" (heal).

Scenario 1:

You are fighting a single snake. First, "Start Fight" combo (bow pull) fires, using a bow to pull the mob.

Then "Single Mob" combos (swipe and sting) fire and keep firing until the mob is dead.

Then "After Fight" combo (heal) fires.

Scenario 2:

Now lets say you are fighting a single snake and during the fight are jumped by a hound. Like before First, "Start Fight" combo (bow pull) fires, using a bow to pull the mob.

Then "Single Mob" combos (swipe and sting) fire, but wait here comes a hound.

Then "Multi Mobs" combo (double slash) fires

"Multi Mobs" combo (double slash) is not ready, so "Single Mob" combos (swipe and sting) fire.

When "Multi Mob" combo (double swipe) is ready it fires again.

The snake dies....

Then "Single Mob" combos (swipe and sting) fire.

Then "Single Mob" combos (swipe and sting) fire and keep firing until the hound is dead.

Then "After Fight" combo (heal) fires.

Multiple Mobs

This mode controls how the player attacks when fighting 2 or mobs at once, see "Single Mob" above.

After Fight

This mode controls what the player does after he finishes fighting, aka, drinks a heal potion, cast a heal spell etc. NOTE: this will fire after every mob killed so if you have something in limited supply, be wary about putting it in here.

COMBO

Every attack mode has the capability to have combos. Combos are the keys the player pushes during play to do things like drink a potion or shoot a bow. There can be several keys tied to 1 combo, and an example of this would be shooting "Barbed Arrow" and then immediately using "Quick Shot". However it is only recommended to have 1 or 2 keys per combo, because their priority will determine if the spell or shot is ready to be used.

PRIORITY

Now lets talk about priority. The way priority works, is the lower the priority number the more the player will try to use that combo. For example: If "Barbed Arrow" has a lower priority than "Quick Shot", and they are both able to cast a the same time, "Barbed Arrow" will fire before "Quick Shot". So the idea is to have the spells you use the most, or the ones you want to have trump other spells, to have a lower priority.
