EQ2 Bot

Re: EQ2 Bot
I am also having issues with the EQ2 bot. It is not reading any of my character's stats such as HP and mana. Probably caused by the recent mini patch.

Yea, first time with viper so I wasn't sure if it was me. Thank you for the reply.
Re: EQ2 Bot
Happened about two months ago with on of the patches. If I recall correctly it took 1-2 days for the devs here to get a working/updated version of the bot published. Which seems to be a fairly fast response time considering all the things that can be changed with a patch.
Re: EQ2 Bot
I'm testing it now...
Re: EQ2 Bot
Yes it needs a patch, I'm working on it, once its posted it will show up in the downloads.
Re: EQ2 Bot
I uploaded the new patch.
Keep in mind this is the new 2.0.. so you will need to remake your patrols.. I hope you find it easier than before.
Rez paths are now included by default.
Just click on the nav tab and record a path from the rez spot to a point on your patrol.

Re: EQ2 Bot
Just want to say thank you. The new EQ2 bot seems to be working great. I really like the new features. Seeing the patrol while building it and being able to add mobs by a line of sight list are great.
Re: EQ2 Bot
Just remember, harvesting nodes, you will need to double click the name and set the node flags.

Re: EQ2 Bot
The new Viper 2.0 does not seem to be finding my game info, same as Rocker15 "2nd poster".
Does the path to EQ2 app make a difference? "K:\Program Files\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest II_fresh\LaunchPad.exe"
Does the name of the app in Task Manager make a difference? "Everquest2.exe *32"

I'm running the latest US version.. are you on a different area?
Look in the stats tab and see if it shows your player info?

No it does not....I am in northern California....also it is a pain that I can not even try other computers here until I wait 4 hours, the lockout should be ip or online based (if I log off with one computer I should be able to login with another)

Re: EQ2 Bot
also...Even though I have a issue now that is frustrating me, I still love MMOViper and think your support possibly the best of any site I have ever seen.

Re: EQ2 Bot
Problem solved...I had 2 instances of EverQuest2.exe *32 running in Task Manager but actually I could only see one from my desktop. At somepoint EQ must have crashed and left a ghost image still running. Quitting EQ2 and forcing the ghost image to quit from task manager allowed me to restart EQ2 and get MMOViper to work.
Still it would be nice to be able to quit using Viper on one computer and the start using it on another computer without waiting 4 hours...

Re: EQ2 Bot
I do want to get the ability for users to run atleast 2 bots on the same network.. so you can take advantage of things like the follower bot or even setting up a complete party of bots.
