Timed Events, Buffs, and Resting

In 2.1.5.2 (or 2.1.5.3), there will be a new options/Buffs and options/Resting

These new tabs, will be able to load "mini" campaigns for use with buffs, and resting.

The buffs tab, will be a set of timed events where you can have it run a mini campaign every xx seconds. Some ideas here would be for buffs, pausing the normal campaign, or any set of tasks you wish to run on a timed basis. It will trigger only when out of combat, and only after the specified number of seconds has elapsed. Then it will run through the mini campaign, and then reset the seconds timer. You can have multiple timed events.

The new resting tab, will be able to load a set of mini campaigns that only trigger when your options/options/resting settings are in play. Ie, if you have it set to rest at 50% until 100%, it will run your specified mini campaign in a loop until your health is 100%. Some ideas here might be to have it drink a potion if your health is < 90%, but maybe eat food if your health is < 20%. Maybe you just want to drink potions over and over until you are full health, or maybe your class can heal itself by using a spell. This would be where you would put the logic to speed up recovery. There will only be 1 resting mini campaign allowed to be set.

I wanted to use the campaign editor for these, so going forward, if new tasks or scripting is added, it can also be used by the buff and resting tabs as well to use more advanced logic.

Your thoughts? Ideas?

Sounds great!

Is Selling/Buying also on the table for the next update? I know you've said a few days a few times over the past 2 weeks any idea when we can expect an update? (don't mean to be pushy thanks for everything you do!)

This and los are big changes.. wont be until next week.. shooting for wed at latest.

Have a small patch I am tyring to get out before the weekend to buy/sell vendor items, allow harvesting of non static things (skinning, etc), and ignoring of critters.

Thanks Viper. Was hoping at least the selling to vendor and buying would be out by now--I am going on a trip soon. Would've been nice to make a kickass script before going :(

This was moved to plugins.

The bot now supports plugins and scripts.

You can make a plugin or combat script to have full control over the bot.

There is not a lot of documentation, but a good example plugin is in the BNS forum called Viper Assistant. Its a generic plugin that will let you do all kinds of things. Good place to start. This is a example of a combat script.
