www timed out and "failed while checking version number"

The server IP shouldn't be blocked. There were 2 people who had a problem connecting but it ended up being a firewall on their computer that was doing the blocking.

I would reboot your computer and turn off all AV and firewalls on your computer and see if you still have problems. Then narrow it down from there.
