Subscription canceled??

Hi, It's been awhile since I brought the subscription for this service.
I payed for the full year through PayPal, I remember a few months ago clearing out my PayPal Auto payments and removing this from the next years payment.
I don't understand how that resulted in this being canceled then.
I payed for the year and therefore should have the service for the time I payed.
It makes no scene and you've just taken my money.
I payed the 29.95 for a YEAR. not for 15 days going by my Paypal history.
Seems I didn't even get to use this for a month of the year I payed.
I'm just totally confused on what logic is behind this decision. I payed for a year so I should have the year.
Canceling auto payment for the following year should not result in my account being canceled with no comment.
