In your start fight and/or single target, you need a hotkey that will actually dammage the mob and turn on your auto/fight routines.

i have i have suprise strike

In-game go to Main Menu --> Options --> Combat Options and then "check"

1. Auto target enemies
2. Skills can enable default attack
3. Allow skill buttons to target nearest enemy
4. Enable skill target forwarding

then try it again and see if it is the same.

checked the combat options and changed what was nescesary , still not attacking , i reinstalled mmoviper but i still get the error if i do start viper
it says : unhandled exception has occured in your aplication if u click continue the aplication will ignore this error and attempt to continue

I'm confused.

You posted a log above, but now it is giving you an error?

What did you change to cause that error?

You may have a corrupted profile. You will need to delete this manually. Uninstall viper, and then find the mmoviepr folder and delete all remaining files. Then reinstall.

Once you reinstall and you can edit profiles again, be sure to use the suggestions that ScreamingEagle suggested.

well the log is after i saw the error , i just clicked on continue so ignore it , i did the set the settings as scream said , i reinstalled mmoviper , after i deleted all files off mmoviper and i get the error again (

Can you tell me exactly when the error pops up? Ie walk through all steps from loading lotro to .....

Can you get viper to ignore it or anything?

I managed to get rid of that error , apparently i forgot to put on the statistics , everytime i didnt click the statistics i had it , so that problem seems to be solved ,
I also seems like the avatar is targetting the mobs now , he only still doesnt attack them yet , i keep on trying.... if u have any advice or so plz let me know

sigh... i am getting despirate, i have a captain aswell and i did all the same as u did following the video , step by step, even double checked everything , if i do save and finish i get an error with
"uknown spells are listed on the hotkeys , hotkeys left to remove 1
plz remove hotkey 12" what is on the video and on my bar the summon herald key. then i got the error back aswell from the too large and too small thing and my captain didnt even summoned nor started his patrol

To train spells, you have to remove that hotkey when it tells you to from your in game hotbar. Then it will give you further instructions.

If you are using a spell that is not trained, it can make it not use that hotkey at all.


In the game options like ScreamingEagle said, if you haev active auto attack on spell use, it should put your player into attack mode and auto fight back when you use a ability on a mob.

From your log, you are using abilities, so he should start auto fighting when you use a spell.

this is the last attempt of my burglar , for so far i see every option is same as helpfile i do exactly same as video , he is running on his patrol but dont target the mobs and just run around , i have in start fight , the range throw a stone hobbit thing , and in single mob the subtle stab and another attack i didnt put anything in after fight

i just did another try with the patrol from above, it still doesnt attack but if i kill the mob , it is looting it via the bot-program , why doenst it attack then ? it patrols ,doenst attack ,( but if i kill it myself ), it auto-loots
plz plz plz help me out

With a Purely melee class like Burglar you will need to set the Maximum Distances down unless you use a ranged attack. Being a Burg your only options are Throw Stone (if you are Hobbit) or Throwing Axes.

If you do not want to use a Ranged atack for start fight you will have to set you MAX distance to target to like 3-5 instead of the defualt 40.

My Burg is set on 3-5 for Max and in the area where you setup hotkeys and to Look for targets up to 20 feet away in the area where you set it to look for Nodes and Mobs ..

As for the issue with the "please remove Key and or Key Not Recoginized" That is the part where you actually train the bot to do its thing. if It says remove a Hot key remove that skill from that Key location on hotbar. when it is done then it will tell you to replace a key and then hit the button after you have replaced that key. You will have to do this usually for any hotkeys it asks you too. being a burg this was a nightmare fo me as my Hotkey bar was absolutly full ( and they gonna give me new skills this week, where am I supposed to put them .. LOL)

I am like you. not very adept at some of this and took me a bit to get it all figured out .. but useing the video and maiking adjustments for my class and through trial and error and uninstalling and reinstalling the bot time and again I now it working to my satisfaction.
