cleric trouble

lemmi say i love the bot, at low lvl characters.
but having lots of trouble trying to set it up for a 22 cleric. ive tried all sorts of settings for smite and hallowed strike and their chains, but to no success. my guy always wants to run to the target at first and mostly just stands there...
can anyone possably help me out or gimmi some suggestions to what they have done to solve the problem? eg settings...
