Finished patrol, means all patrol critera was met. Make sure your exp is set to 9999999999 or some insane big number as I dont think that specific option is working for ffxi or might be bugged now.
Check your mobs to kill also, and make sure you have something in there.
Finally, make sure you have waypoints in your patrol.

It sounds like you have not read the help file at the very top of the page.
It says how to get a basic setup going, and what keys to enter in your options.
Is that what you were looking for?
Ie, in the help file it says you need to turn on compact keyboard in the ffxi options.. else the bot will not move.

Did you turn on compact keyboard?
It should when you start the bot start running the patrol.
If you remove all mobs from the patrol, it should run the patrol from point to point. If it wont do that, then the movement is still not setup correctly.
In game, you should be able to press W, A , S, D to move your character around.
Pressing W to move forward and then pressing R should lock the run so youcan take your fingers off the keyboard and it will keep running, etc.

Here is the video that we made for LOTRO, as far as setting up the patrol/waypoints, its pretty much the same. Just the options/profile are different (but that is discussed in the help file).
