Multiple Clients in beta testing

#1 Post by PitViper »

You have been asking for it for a while.. well now its here.

With each premium license, you can now access two different viper clients.

What does this mean? Well if you are working from work/home you can run both at the same time. Without having to wait for a key to unlock.

Have a friend that wants to bot with you, share one of your keys with him.

Want to try group botting? Now you can run two clients and have them botting together in a team (most viper bots support grouping)

So how does this all work? Well right now we are testing out a new licensing that will allow more than one bot to be running at a time. During this beta, you can run up to 2 clients at once. HOWEVER, once those 2 keys are locked.. they will remain locked for about 6 hours. (I know the message will say 4.. but its actually 6). This time may be adjusted in the future. But for now.. you can lock 2 keys at a time.

Our current thinking.. is that we will offer 2 keys included with membership.. but the keys will be locked for 12 to 24 hours. Each additional key beyond 2 will be in the order of around 10 bucks a year (not many people have more than one license) ...but this will help with friends, family, etc that may want to bot with you.

Please give me some feedback on this.

Run on same PC?

I would think not unless background running is enabled...which woudl probably add to detection.

Sorry for the confusion.. no this is for seperate PC's.. but with 1 license you can now run 2 computers at the same time.

The background mode is still coming with the scripting patch.

Is it the Holiday season already?! Great idea. Only thing I would wish to see is being able to run two clients with 1 PC. For those of us that only have 1 PC or only one PC capable or running any particular game like FFXIV.

For that to work, they would need to add background mode.

That would make the bot add more detection, and possibly be bad....
I believe the scripting portion of the bot (once its ready) will have this feature that you can turn on/off.
But that is only what I remember reading.

If it for separate PC it should be infinite. only on same IP

If you make it where you're able to stack it then go for the additional fee.

Make sense this way.

Nah, <<< security guy here. Would be way to easy to spoof an I.P to trick an authentication server. Harder to trick the auth key in place currently :)

I have a couple secure ideas that might work though. Message me for info.

How do you get access to this? I have two Lic key already, so in theory I could Run up to 4 systems at a time... HAY my own party..

Still have to see how the grouping function will work..

Its automatic. Just login from a different computer and it will not give you a key in use until 2 keys are locked.
